Up-to-date programmes are consistently implemented, defined by written procedures and supervised. Participants are trained by qualified and experienced trainers, who continually improve and perfect their competences. Various equipment and a modern training centre comply with relevant standards and undergo regular controls. According to the risk assessment, protective measures have been applied and all training participants are insured. Participants’ knowledge and skills are systematically checked, with all the training segments being documented. Such a training method is in line with the highest industry standards, distinguishing VERTIKO’s training from many others.

Standard training programmes meet the requirements of the majority of users but can be further adapted to particular structural elements, equipment selected and preferred protection techniques. The programmes differ primarily according to the work situations and the structures for which they have been developed (constructions, roofs, rope work...). Depending on the purpose of training, more time is provided for theoretical knowledge, equipment inspection, using method, protection techniques, rope work or rescue (managers, occasional users, specialized workers...), where additional differences can be found in the very programme topics (knots, pulleys, load lifting...). Choosing the right training is a major step towards achieving desired results, which is why VERTIKO regularly directs the selection.

Training is delivered in smaller groups, with a pre-defined trainer-to-trainee ratio and can last from one to six days, depending on the training programme. The theoretical part of the training takes place in a classroom and includes lecture, video materials and equipment presentation. All the participants are provided with illustrated course materials. The practical part of the training is considerably longer and includes the introduction to equipment, demonstration and practice to adopt scheduled units. It takes place on the polygon or on a field structure, where all the required equipment is made available to trainees. Eventful programmes are the main attribute of VERTIKO’s training courses, therefore a certain level of motivation and capability is expected from all the trainees.

Knowledge and skills are tested in writing and via practical exercises, where all the participants who pass the testing will be able to use various equipment and fall protection or rescue systems. They will learn the theory and improve the skills covered by the training programme. They will be able to recognize potential risks related to the work method and detect errors in the application of equipment and systems involved. As a proof of their training result, certificates and ID cards are issued, and most of VERTIKO’s training participants are successful in achieving them.

A large number of training details are already available on the website, but feel free to contact us for additional explanations and programme descriptions at the addresses provided. The selection of the training is agreed in accordance with the data collected (work situation, typical structure, participant profile, choice of the topic…), after which the training programme is further adapted to specific requirements. Training offer, conditions and possible delivery dates are presented, based on the number of trainees. Required documents are collected and written instructions provided to the participants prior to the training course itself. On arrival at the training site, all the participants are registered. Following the completion of training, a brief report is compiled and VERTIKO presents symbolic gifts to all the participants and attendees.
